A man is in custody after a fatal shooting Wednesday night in Grand Prairie.
Cain Garcia, 27, faces a murder charge in the death of 44-year-old Todd Brookes. It is unclear whether Garcia has an attorney.
Police were called about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday to the 1600 block of North Bent Tree Trail, near Lake Ridge Parkway and Matthew Road, where they found Brookes wounded in the street. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
