Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston Explain What Went Wrong With the AEW Revolution Explosion
Revolution proved to be a dud, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston cut a promo early into this week s AEW Dynamite and tired to explain what happened. In real life the underwhelming explosion was merely a technical error, but in the storyline the two chalked it up to shoddy craftsmanship from Kenny Omega.
Kingston started off by recapping why he ran down to protect Moxley from the explosion and said he had flashbacks to when he was sitting in a jail cell as guards told him he was going to be shipped off to Rikers Island.
AEW Revolution: Jon Moxley Makes Fun of Final Explosion After Show Ends
The final moments of AEW s
Revolution pay-per-view were supposed to end on an emotional moment, as Eddie Kingston ran into the ring to protect a handcuffed Jon Moxley as the ring was rigged to explode. Unfortunately, the blast that went off was a little lackluster, leading to fans booing inside Daily s Place Amphitheater. The show went off the air with both Moxley and Kingston selling the injury, which clashed with how small the blast really was.
After the show ended, Moxley stopped selling the blast and grabbed a microphone, poking fun at the situation.
Why Was the Final Explosion of AEW Revolution So Weak?
All Elite Wrestlng s latest pay-per-view,
Revolution, culminated in the wildly violent exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley. Unfortunately, for as many highlights as the show had, the biggest takeaway from fans online was the lackluster final explosion that was meant to blow up the ring with Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston still inside. The show went off the air with Moxley and Kingston selling the explosion as if it was much worse, but then Mox got on the microphone and poked fun at the weak blast with the fans in attendance.
