Road/Bridge Closures Across Acadiana Due to Winter Storm
The following roads and bridges have been closed across Acadiana because of the winter storm that made its way across Acadiana. But as the sun comes out, officials are hoping things will improve.
I-10 Eastbound and Westbound from I-49 in Lafayette, including 118 to 135 (Atchafalaya Basin Bridge), all the way to Baton Rouge
ACADIA PARISH
Estherwood Pontoon Bridge (LA 91) (OPEN)
All roads are frozen and iced over in Church Point. The bridges have a sheet of ice on them also and are hazardous for travel.
IBERIA PARISH
US 90 Overpass over LA 675 (OPEN)
Road/Bridge Closures Across Acadiana Due to Winter Storm
The following roads and bridges have been closed across Acadiana because of the winter storm making its way across Acadiana. The storm is causing ice to build up and with the temperatures not expected to get above freezing (32 degrees) until possibly Tuesday or maybe into Wednesday, it is causing these roads to stay icy for an extended period of time.
