Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that its new member,
Café Transilvania, has scheduled its grand opening Ribbon Cutting on December 15. The official ribbon cutting Ceremony will be officiated by First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick, at 1:30PM.
The menu offers a Romanian-American cuisine, with traditional offerings: stuffed cabbage, papanasi, and Hungarian chicken paprikash, plus so much more! In addition, breakfast items are served all day, and the café will also offer a nice variety of soups, salads, flatbreads and delicious desserts.
The owners, Alina Caldarariu and Christian Caldarariu, are both from Transilvania. They wanted to open a Romanian place to serve the Romanians and Eastern European people who miss the taste of traditional food, and also introduce American people to their delicious cuisine so they can fall in love with it.
