The music was grooving Saturday afternoon inside the outdoor tent space on Adams Street.
Patrons inside the heated tent, which is shared by Buzz Bomb Brewing Company, Cafe Moxo and other businesses on the street, were treated to a variety of jazz, blues and R&B hits from Springfield-based musician Jonnie Owens.
“If it wasn t for these guys, I wouldn t be doing any shows,” said Owens, speaking in between sets. “. Fortunately, these guys have opened up their hearts and their place for performers to do the little we can do.”
The venue is one of the few spaces Owens who has seen shows scheduled across the country be canceled and other local artists have been able to perform during the pandemic.

Bring the kids as word on the street is that Santa Claus will be handing out candy canes during the event. Social distancing will be enforced, so waves and candy canes will have to do.
