How about egg custard and marshmallow?The owner of a Baltimore-themed gift shop will bring Charm City-centric flavors to a new ice cream shop opening this spring on The Avenue in Hampden.Ross Nochumowitz started Baltimore In A Box in 2014. The business, which has a Hampden storefront decorated with a painting of the Maryland flag, assembles beloved local goodies like crab chips, Berger cookies and Old Bay seasoning into custom-order gift boxes to bring to housewarmings or send to far-flung Marylanders as a reminder of home.Nochumowitz drew inspiration from those homegrown flavors to create Baltimore In A Box Ice Cream, which he s working to open by May 1 at 1004 W. 36th St. in Hampden.
