As part of the imposed directives, movement of citizens at public places has been restricted, especially during night. The authorities also imposed several restrictions on hotels, restaurants and bars, as public movement is restricted from 11 pm onwards. “From 11 pm to 6 am no public movement will be allowed in the district except those involved in essential activities/work,” Saurabh Rao, divisional commissioner, Pune division, had said on Saturday. The officer had stressed that the timings of hotels, bar and restaurant has been reduced and they are now only allowed to remain open till 11 pm.
