Things to do in Ottawa as March turns into April: See Blue Rodeo, check out contemporary art and relive the 80s with the English Beat

Don’t miss The Human Rights, one of Canada’s top reggae bands as they make a rare foray beyond the boundaries of the GTA. The excursion brings them to the Rainbow Bistro on Thursday (March 30), where you’ll see the full band, including singers Friendlyness and Tréson, and a horn section, showcase their diverse Canadian reggae sound. Opening the show is Ottawa’s legendary reggae singer, Ras Lee, and his cohorts in the Vibes Band. Tickets are $16.50, available in advance at eventbrite.ca, or $20 at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m.
