LYON-CALDWELL COUNTIES, Ky. (KFVS) - Eastbound Interstate 24 opened to one-lane traffic after a SEMI fire at the 55.5 mile marker.
It happened a little after midnight on Wednesday, December 23. The closure is near the Lyon-Caldwell County line.
KYTC said the truck fire caused significant damage to the concrete pavement. This is along a 13-mile section of I-24 that had been open on new concrete pavement for just over a week.
