âVoices of Cades Cove, Part 9: Of Another Time,â a cultural history documentary film produced by Kate Marshall Graphics, was released Dec. 9. This is the latest in a series focused on telling the story of Cades Cove and the people who once lived in the small, mountain community that is now the most-visited area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Kate Marshall, with Kate Marshall Graphics based in Alpharetta, Georgia, said Part 9 begins where âPart 8: Shattered Peace,â left off, near the end of the Cades Cove Loop Road. The series is presented in traveling sequence rather than in chronological order. âThis shows the Cove to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park visitor in the context of the Loop Road, because that is how most people see and move through the Cove,â Marshall said in a release. âIt has proven to be a successful approach, not only for the visitor, but also for us. The Loop Road became the central character in the long story, guid
