On Tuesday, May 21, the Clarksville High Wildcats traveled to Siegel High School for the opening round of the TSSAA state tournament. While CHS flirted with a comeback in the bottom of the seventh inning, they ended up falling short, losing 4-5.
The Springfield High Yellow Jackets traveled to Clarksville High School to take on the Wildcats in the first round of the 13-4A district tournament. While Springfield made a late effort to comeback, Clarksville weathered the storm and won 9-6.
