There was plenty of high school basketball on Saturday, as most state tournaments wrapped up their quarterfinal rounds.
Norfork’s girls are one win away from punching their ticket to the state championship game. The Lady Panthers routed Clarendon 71-47 in the Class 1A State Tournament at West Side High School in Greers Ferry. Norfork will face the host Lady Eagles in the semifinals on Monday. Norfork School District will dismiss classes Monday at noon to give students and fans an opportunity to watch the game.
Ozark Mountain watched its season come to an end on the boys’ bracket. The Bears fell to Nevada by a final of 75-57.
