No matter what the weather, a trip to a National Trust site is always a great day out for the whole family.
Boasting magnificent houses, peaceful gardens and wooded trails, not to mention stunning views and hilltop adventures, a National Trust visit can be both fun and educational.
And we re lucky in Bristol to have some stunning sites belonging to the heritage conservation charity right here on our doorstep.
The vast majority of them are currently open and welcoming visitors - but remember to adhere to social distancing and follow coronavirus restrictions when you visit.
