In the past five years, systematic land registration in Stung Treng province – within the framework of the Land Administration Sub-Sector Programme – has been achieved in 35 villages, with more than 30,000 titles distributed to people across the province.
The Kandal Provincial Administration on April 18 presented over 1,000 “hard titles” – the strongest form of property ownership certificate in the Kingdom – to more than 500 households in Anlong Ta Sek Leu village in Sa’ang district’s Prek Ambel commune.
Siem Reap governor Tea Seiha said that in the past five years, the province has registered a total of 48,476 land titles. He presented the figures at a press conference on the provincial administration’s achievements of the past five years,” held at the Council of Ministers on March 29.
