roads the west gun show through four states. there s 35 shows a year in this state. it was prescheduled for this weekend about ten miles south of here, and it went on yesterday. i talked to the owner of the show. he said they did consider postponing it, but they decided to go forward. they said this is a jared loughner is not representative of the responsible gun owners. when i got there, there were thousands coming in very enthusiastic. there were 200 vendors showing all manners of weapons, body armor, not just guns but knives and brass knuckles and thing like that. i hung around the glock table that jared loughner used. i met a number of people buying them. they walked away in 20 minutes after passing a background check. i talked to a woman that said, i ll use it as protection. i grew up shooting in westchester, new york. my dad introduced it to me. it s for my safety. she shooting cactuses that are
