New renderings of Metro King: one of Metro Vancouver s future tallest towers

If it existed today, the tower would be the tallest building in Metro Vancouver exceeding the 659-ft-tall (201 metres) Living Shangri-La in downtown Vancouver but it would fall short of a growing number of future super-tall towers in the region, including the 755-ft-tall (230 metres) Concord Metrotown Two tower just across the street. The residential floors sit above nine storeys of commercial space, including seven storeys of office and a double-height ground floor of restaurant and cafe uses. The combined commercial space component is about 149,000 sq ft.

Tables brings in a food hall-inspired layout for its businesses, with island units for some of the tenants and a wide variety of seating configurations. The food court’s west side is enclosed by a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that brings in ample natural light, and provides diners with views of the street activity below.
