Shuttered since March 17, 2020, two Station Casinos resorts have officially applied for “non-operational status” and notified the City of North Las Vegas “there is no known re-opening date at this time.”
Beginning June 4, Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho are seeking to place their “non-restricted gaming, non-restricted gaming liquor and full liquor off-sale business licenses” on-hold for a second year, citing Nevada’s “uncertain economic conditions.” The City of North Las Vegas can approve the mothballing for a maximum of two years in a row.
Earlier this month, the Palms, the most upmarket asset in the Stations Casinos’ portfolio, was sold to The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians for $650 million in cash.
