As part of its mission to create public good in the region and beyond, Bowling Green State University will hold its first-ever For the Public Good service event on Saturday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the campus, in the City of Bowling Green and in various northwest Ohio communities.
During his time at Bowling Green State University, C. Raymond Marvin ’60 ‘17 (Hon.) found himself faced with unexpected hard times. With support from those within the BGSU learning community, he was able to continue his education and graduate on time. Never forgetting the kindness and generosity of those who helped him, Marvin is now paying it forward through the Pay It Forward Scholars Fund.
The scholarship program reflects the experience of C. Raymond Marvin '60, '17 (Hon.) a former grant recipient at BGSU who aims to connect scholarship recipients with each other and the fund.
