A Libertyville woman is facing charges after striking another woman with a car during a domestic argument outside a Grayslake-area bar, authorities said.
Katrice Brown, 35, of the 1400 block of West Park Avenue, was arrested Thursday night. She is charged with felony counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and two felony counts of aggravated domestic battery as well as misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police were notified of the confrontation at the C mon Inn, 34028 N. Route 45, about 6:40 p.m.
Brown and the other woman, a 28-year-old Libertyville resident, had been arguing inside and left the bar, Lake County sheriff s police said in a news release.
Vehicles parked at three area trailheads â Cherry Creek, the M, and Peetâs Hill â were burgled by two âHispanic-looking malesâ on May 9. The first report was at 1 p.m. at Peetâs Hill, when women returning from a hike realized their door lock had been drilled out and their credit cards were gone. Within 45 minutes, the owner of the cards was notified that $1,453.99 had just been charged on a card at Target.
At the same time, the county sheriff had been notified that another resident had the same done to her car at the Cherry Creek fishing access, and her cards were being used at Walmart to the tune of $828.65.
Heartland 200 will be raced on ice this year

The Heartland 200 snowmobile racing event, affiliated with Cor Powersports, will be raced on Fish Hook Lake Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 27-28.
Butch De La Hunt, president and CEO of the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, announced the decision to race on the ice on Feb. 17, due to a lack of snow on the area’s woodland trails.
