It s ground-breaking retelling of the Cinderella fairytale is charming and heartbreaking, at the same time.Gemma Craven is a delight as Cinderella. She carries the bulk of the score including Once I Was Loved , When He Danced With Me , Tell Him Anything (But Not That I Love Him) and I Can t Forget the Melody . Her gorgeous voice (which has mellowed in recent years to a warm contralto), sounds crisp and delightful.Richard Chamberlain dusts off his singing voice for the role of the Prince, singing a varied group of songs like Why Can t I Be Two People? , A Bride-Finding Ball , When She Danced With Me and Secret Kingdom .
