AEW Dynamite (Episode 74)
Aired February 24, 2021 on TNT
[Hour One] The Dynamite intro aired, and the announce team of JR, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur welcomed everyone to the show. Jon Moxley made his ring entrance from his usual side stage location. Tony Schiavone announced Paul Wight’s signing, and that he would be joining him on commentary for the upcoming AEW Dark extension appearing on YouTube on Monday Nights. Ryan Nemeth was already in the ring, and we got a brief picture in picture promo where he said he was looking for a starring role.
1. Jon Moxley vs. Ryan Nemeth: Moxley landed a hard right hand slap to Nemeth that put him down. He then landed crossface strikes while he held Nemeth in a kneeling position. Nemeth fired back with a neck thrust, and then landed some knee strikes. Moxley fired back with a back suplex. Moxley applied some finger manipulation, and then landed a chop. Nemeth got a foot up in the corner when Moxley charged in, and then landed a dropkick

Tag Team Battle Royal: It was nice to see teams like Top Flight and The Acclaimed stick around deep into the match. There were also several stories told through the process, furthering the dissent between the members of Inner Circle, and the on again off again conflict between former Bullet Club Members The Young Bucks and Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. The action was fast paced and lively, and I think Chris Jericho and MJF picking up the win secured what should be an interesting story told in the AEW Tag Title match at AEW Revolution. If there is anything to criticize in this match, it’s that they tried to fit too much into a short Battle Royal, and it reduced the impact of some of the story elements.
AEW Dynamite (Episode 69)
Aired live January 20, 2021 on TNT
[Hour One] The AEW into video aired and Pyro lit up the arena. Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur joined on commentary as Dark Order’s music hit. This match is a celebration for -1’s Birthday. The match was booked after -1 (Brodie Huber) cut a promo on Luther a few weeks ago. There was a birthday cake on a table on the stage, and they lit the candles for him. Jon Silver got on the microphone and said tonight was going to be a celebration, and the Dark Order was going to get a new recruit. He indicated it would be Adam Page. He then said the second item was Brodie’s Birthday, and he then led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday.
AEW Dynamite (Episode 68)
Aired January 13, 2021 on TNT
[Hour One] It’s Wednesday Night, and you know what that means. The announce team of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur called up a video package that summarized the feud between Eddie Kingston and Pac. Eddie Kingston was then shown in a backstage promo while he made his entrance. He said he would send Pac home, and he was never coming back. Pac then made his entrance with urgency and quickly attacked Kingston.
1. Eddie Kingston (w/The Butcher, The Blade, The Bunny) vs. Pac (w/Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix): The match started on the floor. Eddie got dumped outside and Pac immediately dove on him. He then followed and tossed him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Pac landed a set of pump kicks, and then choked Kingston with his foot on his neck using the bottom rope. Pac continued to put pressure on Kingston, until Eddie used some help from Allie and The Blade on the outside to create a distraction to gain control.
AEW Dynamite (Episode 65)

[Hour One] The show began at 9:04pm after the NBA game. We got the Dynamite intro video package to start the show, and Chris Jericho’s music hit to start the show. He made his ring entrance with MJF and Jake Hager for the opening tag match. Fans and wrestlers sang along to Judas. They were followed by Top Flight, Darius and Dante Martin. Footage was shown of Top Flight attacking Jericho last week in their 12 man tag. The broadcast team was Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur.
1. “Top Flight” Darius Martin and Dante Martin vs. Chris Jericho and MJF (w/Jake Hager): Darius Martin and Jericho started the match. Darius landed some quick punches, but Jericho came roaring back with chops. Jericho got a boot up as Martin charged him in the corner, but Darius responded with an enziguri. Dante tagged in and Top Flight landed a double team kick. A cover was made, but the ref counted two. MJF tagged into the match and tal
