Three fatal accidents investigated | News, Sports, Jobs

Staff Report LISBON The highway patrol is investigating three fatal crashes that occurred on county roads within a 24-hour period. A 34-year-old Wellsville man, Tress Wiley, was killed in a single-car accident shortly after midnight Monday on Osbourne Road in Madison Township. Earlier Sunday night, 24-year-old Elijah Kaufman of Rogers was killed in an ATV rollover crash on Bye Road in Middleton Township. On Monday afternoon, a 59-year-old truck driver from Pennsylvania, Darrell Young, was killed in a crash on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township. Wiley was driving a 2002 Acura RSX westbound on Osbourne between Crews and Fife Coal roads when he traveled off the left side of road and struck an embankment which caused his vehicle to overturn. The vehicle struck a fence and re-entered the roadway before traveling off the right side of the road before coming to rest.
