DIMAPUR Phek Government College and Pfutsero Government College organised their respective 40th annual parting social on May 5. At Phek Government College, the function was held in the college auditorium with the deputy commissioner of Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, as the guest of honour, an update stated. The guest of honour, in his address, conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing students and encouraged them on four main key points: to never stop believing and to have confidence to face any challenges as failure; to never stop learning and to have consistency in learning; to build a good network in order to reach the destiny and, lastly, to become an entrepreneur and to not depend on government jobs alone. Earlier, the programme commenced with an invocation by Zomunulu Vese and a welcome address delivered by the college’s principal, Dr. T Tiakaba Jamir.
