  Some residents of Sagwari, Chikakore, Byazhin and other parts of the Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, are set to embark on a protest over the rising cases of kidnapping in the area. This is coming after the suspected bandits abducted scores of people and killed others in the area. The residents lamented the recent surge of kidnapping incidents and very high ransom demands by the abductors.
