opportunity. look at america right now and it is a very unbalanced recovery and people get this. the president is trying to sell what he s doing on the campaign trail. people say, i ve seen bidenomics, don t change the name on me, i know what it looks like and where i need to go to get away from it. steve: number of people that dropped out of the labor market and many retired. if you are retired and living on a fixed income, now is a pretty good time. the two-year treasury is at 16-year high. it is north of 5%, if you park your money some place super safe, you will do okay with that. brian: you can get more interest today, maybe a little more interest, you are watching prices. you can get the interest rate, what am i paying for things i need? you have so much control, i think people who are retired are
but people don t feel it. carley: they do that, do you remember dark brandon, we are going to turn this around and make it positive. no new shiny term will convince american people what is in their faces and bank account. inflation is high. wages not keeping pace with inflation and he says, people want to say, honey, it is going to be okay. 74% is not saying, honey, it is okay. they are saying i m financially worse off, people are not feeling so-called bidenomics, good luck with the new shiny term. brian: what he is referring to is survey that plays to his original statement. 28% of the country feel financially secure and 72% don t feel secure enough. 38% approve of him with the economy, slight upgrade, but not close to 50%. so really is wondering, he can t run on the farm policy.

waking up saying, get inflation down so i can feel good about my retirement savings. the president hasn t been able to do that and this jobs support showed wage number higher than expected and suggest underlying inflation is pretty sticky. again, that is scary if the job is to get inflation under control. brian: have you heard of economic principle that builds from the middle out or bottom up. brian: he likes to use that phrase, i know one, economic freedom, putting money and power in the hands of the people who have great ideas to create wealth. we ve done that, it will not happen from the top down, that is bidenomics. take your money and give to the president and let him spend on the people he likes. it is opportunity. you don t know the outcome and don t pretend the president of the united states can predict
