The African National Congress (ANC) said on Wednesday that the emergence of coalition governments at a local government level because of unintended consequence of service delivery lapses and uncontrollable governance challenges faced by successive ANC leadership over the years. The party noted that coalition politics in Tshwane, under the leadership of the Democratic Alliance (DA), have been steeped in skewed service delivery, which has little to do with tackling the plight of poor black African people, who are in the majority.
