Roadworks on key travel routes across Wokingham start this week ROAD resurfacing works across Wokingham have now begun this week, starting with 12 key roads across the borough. The £1.7 million road-repairing project started earlier this week on January 11, and will continue until the end of March in order to repair main travel routes across the borough. The roads being worked on during spring include Basingstoke Road, Swallowfield, Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, Milestone Avenue, Charvil, Eversley Road, Arborfield, New Wokingham Road, Crowthorne, Wargrave Road, Twyford, Hurst Road, Twyford, Barkham Ride, Finchampstead, Barkham Street, Barkham, as well as Rushey Way, Earley, Butts Hill Road, Woodley, and Headley Road, Woodley.
