WELLFLEET – Interpretive guided walks, an historical scavenger hunt and some family friendly activities are on the docket for National Park Week at Cape Cod National Seashore.
The week, which kicks off Saturday and runs through April 25, includes all national parks in the country. The National Seashore is one of 16 national parks in the state and one of 400 across the nation.
COVID-19-safe programs are planned, according to Leslie Reynolds, assistant superintendent of the Seashore. They include interpretative, educational whale-watching walks led by National Park Service rangers, family-friendly activities at Button Bush Trail in Eastham, and pop-up activities at Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham.
