BUTTE - In order to get more people vaccinated in Butte-Silver Bow, it may be time to take the show on the road.
âWe need to make ourselves more available for folks that maybe canât get to us as easily or need to be accommodated at a different time,â said Diane Regan, operations manager for the Butte Health Department.
The health board is meeting to find creative ways to get to people, like seeking large employers and asking them if they want to hold a clinic for their employees.

BUTTE - The vaccination clinic in Butte this week also included organizations concentrating on vaccinating Native Americans.
âA lot of our community get hit harder with it and itâs harder to recover from it, so itâs very important to get vaccinated,â said Carmen Morales of the Fort Belknap Indian Service Unit.
The Butte Native Wellness Center and the Indian Health Services combined to administer 200 vaccines at this weekâs clinic for Native Americans and anyone else.

BUTTE â Butte-Silver Bow s current success at being one of the leading counties in the state in administering vaccinations is credited to the camaraderie of the community.
âButte is a great community and we take care of our own. I had somebody say to be today, âWell, we have to take care of everyone, because who are we going to fight and argue with if theyâre gone?ââ said Operations Manager Diane Regan.
