Butte County Jail inmates to receive COVID-19 vaccine
On Jan. 28, inmates at the Butte County Jail started receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.
Butte County Public Health Department provides Butte County Jail with enough vaccinations for 100 inmates.

OROVILLE, Calif. - Butte County Jail inmates will begin to receive the COVID-19 vaccine today, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office.
The Butte County Public Health Department provided the jail with enough vaccinations to administer to 100 inmates.

CHICO, Calif. - A group a Butte County citizens came together for a small protest outside of the Butte County Public Health Department in Chico to voice their displeasure over the shut downs. We can t live like this, businesses are shutting down. People are losing their livelihoods, said Norm Saunders, from Paradise. It s not about protecting us it s about controlling us, let s go back to the way things were. We can t live in fear, you have to go on with life.
