big names, business titans for advice on his new jobs plan. he is set to unveil to the nation, in a couple of weeks. ed henry explains live on martha s vineyard where the president is staying with his family and we hear the white house will have a major announcement on cutting red tape, what is that all about? reporter: that s right. something the president has been under pressure from republicans for some time, saying, look, government regulation is strangling businesses. especially in the tough economy, and what they are doing today is announcing all kinds of easing of various government regulations, easing paperwork, allowing businesses to file forms electronically, and, et cetera and the wall street journal reported, rich edson, at fox business confirming the white house will roll this out and think it will be helping businesses big-time and, a top administration official said we are taking immediate steps to save individuals, businesses and state and local governments hundreds
neil: business titans, self made, successful guys like yourself have had a checkered past running for office, not you , but the senate seat from california, and whitman for governor in california, and with the exception of michael bloomberg in new york, more failures than success. does that worry you? guest: no, and here is why: november 2nd said that the political landscape and the political dynamics in this country have changed. and what i have seen with my travels to iowa, new hampshire, south carolina, nevada, and arkansas, all of the states i have been, that dynamic is continuing to change. now, they may have lost for reasons that had nothing to do with this new dynamic but that doesn t discourage me because
