A partnership between HSBC and Imperial College London reports that just 6% of nearly 652,000 corporate sustainability initiatives from 2000-2021 related to biodiversity; however, there has been a significant increase in corporate biodiversity initiatives, especially in utilities, industrials, materials, and consumer goods sectors, and a shift towards long-term NGO partnerships and incorporating nature conservation and regeneration as a strategic priority.
