February 24, 2021MOULTONBOROUGH The proposed Moultonborough School District budget will have a 3.6 percent increase from last year due to increases in retirement and health insurance contributions among other factors.
The Moultonborough School Board and district officials discussed the proposed 2021-2022 budget during a public hearing on Feb. 9.
The proposed budget is $14,998,057, a 3.6 percent increase over last year.
Superintendent Patrick Andrew said factors driving the budget increases include a significant rise in the amount of employer contributions to the New Hampshire Retirement System and increases in the health insurance.
District Business Manager Amanda Berquist also said there was also an increase in contracted services for special education.
