âItâs like a love song, âwalk with me through lifeâ,â said Grammy-winning
Joss Stone, real name is Joscelyn Stoker, about her new single release
âWalk With Meâ (S-Curve/BMG). âMy son told me to rewrite it to be moreâ¦whatâs going on in the world.â
Born in England Joss is known for her gritty soulful vocals. In fact, her debut album in 2003 was titled âThe Soul Sessions.â It became a multi-platinum selling project, which means the album sold over 2 million copies. Her second album release âMind, Body and Soulâ also became a multi-platinum selling project. Today, Joss Stone has accumulated over a billion streams of her music worldwide.
âItâs released January 22
ndâ¦digital and CD. The CD has a nice cover. Some people really like CDs, want to hold it,â said
Bill Champlin about his new solo album
âLivinâ for Loveâ (Imagen Records). Its single
âReason to Believeâ is currently being promoted.
Bill is the former front-man for the group Chicago (âHard Habit to Breakâ) – for 28 years continuously touring on the bandsâ success, and is an infamous songwriter/producer for artists such as Earth Wind and Fire (âAfter the Love is Goneâ) and George Benson (âTurn Your Love Aroundâ). Those two singles, some of my favorite songs, each garnered him a Grammy Award win. Let us not forget his song picked up for a television series of the same name, âIn the Heat of the Night,â which premiered in 1988.
Kool and the Gang, Robert ‘Kool’ Bell is second from right. âItâs the last song my brother wroteâ¦about world peace,â said Robert âKoolâ Bell (Kool and the Gang) about the groupâs new single
âPursuit of Happinessâ, co-written by the late Ronald Bell, who co-founded
Kool and the Gang (1964) with his brother Robert. âItâs to celebrate 40 years since the release of âCelebrateâ and to celebrate 50 years of Kool and the Gang.â
Ronald Bell co-wrote the single âCelebrateâ that gave the Kool and the Gang their first #1 hit, solidifying their legacy in the music business. Since then other hits that have help make them living legends of that fresh distinct sound includes âJungle Boogie,â âHollywood Swinging,â âLadies Night,â “Get Down On It,â and their #1 Pop single âCelebration.â Their hits have been sampled by the best.
“Last year I shot so much stuff,” actress
Erica Shaffer said about the three 2020 projects – Warner Bros., Bounce TV and Amazon Prime – running in 2021. “We were shooting back to back in March (2020). Then we had to shut down. We finished this fall (2020). It was crazy…people being constantly tested.”
The San Diego native’s acting credits include “Days of Our Lives,” “CSI: Miami” and “The Young and the Restless.” But this artist is also a dancer, with credits that include The California Ballet Company. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA (Actor’s Equity Association). She has also appeared on “S.W.A.T.”, The Fugitive, “Hawaii Five-O,” “Ghost Whisperer,” and “Scandal.”
“It goes hand-in-hand with music,” said nine-time Grammy Award-winner
Dionne Warwick (“Do You Know the Way to San Jose”) about the link between interior designing and her music.
After many years designing interiors for homes and businesses via Dionne Warwick Design Group, with offices in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Rio de Janeiro, Warwick partnered with Los Angeles Interior Designer Bruce Garrick to form
WG Design Lab about four years ago. She went on about the link between creating music and interior designing, “It includes colors, it’s warm, it’s cool, has a feel to it. All the things that go into designing music, goes into designing interiors of homes.”
