Havana, Feb 5 (Prensa Latina) Cuba will reach one million Soberana vaccine doses by April, for which its production has already set in motion, Vicente Vérez, director of the Finlay Vaccine Institute, told on Thursday.
Based on his words at the Round Table on Cuban television, the expert detailed that a manufacturing process of about 100,000 vaccines is currently being conducted to safely support the Soberana 01-Soberana 02 clinical trials.
Vérez stressed that Soberana 02 candidate must commence its phase III clinical trial on March 1, with 42,600 volunteers for whom the necessary administrations are guaranteed.
