TAE Aerospace at Bundamba is the largest Gas Turbine Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility in the Southern Hemisphere where work is carried out on several different engines from several different manufacturers. They maintain engines from General Electric GE414 out of the F18 Super Hornets based at Amberley, Pratt & Whitney F135 out of the JSF F35 and the Honeywell AGT1500 that is in the Australian Army Abrams Main Battle Tank amongst other engines. There are currently over 200 staff working in the Bundamba facility. For security purposes, attendees will be asked to provide identification details, including full name, date of birth, nationality and drivers licence number.
