seek ing information from sitting congressmen. congressman jim jordan, scott perry. how significant is this shift of focus to members of congress? yeah, i think it s really significant. up until now the committee has been going around the bush a little bit, right? they ve been subpoenaing former members of the administration. they ve been subpoenaing critical operatives, but they ve not actually got down to subpoenaing members of congress. it seems this is where the investigation is heading next. they may be voluntary requests for information to scott perry, jim jordan, and i think it s quite a strategic approach. they don t want to be seen as going in all guns blazing. they want to show there s due process and they re trying to work out an accommodation with their fellow lawmakers, but after scott perry said he s not going to cooperate and jim jordan discussed skepticism it seemed as though the committee height not have any choice but to issue subpoenas in the coming weeks. i think
it s a bit of an oversimplification. you can divide the pie into more chunks than just in half. jeb bush, of course, represents the establishment of the republican party and tabbed into the establishment money already. but scott walker has the heat behind him and appeals to the right wing of the republican party, the tea party, if you will. jeb bush s problem really i think and why his numbers have gone down so far, he s boring. i think his numbers were high until he got into the race. and then people started to look at his record a little bit, particularly the conservatives and not liking what they see on, say, immigration, and other people began listening to him and thinking, huh, what s the big deal with this guy? he s not very exciting. he s not very charismatic. john is absolutely right, i think he s put his finger on it, the republican party i think now is ready for somebody not establishment. somebody to shake things up a little bit. somebody coming out of wisconsin, maybe. some

okay. now we re going to head over from this table to another table in the candidacies in the republican side of the casino. many more players potentially here. let s go down the road where we are here on the republican side. the big three have not changed. now everybody talks about the big two. the big three we have rubio, still leading the pac. i know he is a dark horse but this is going to be an election that s going to hinge to a large extebility. larger than we have seen for years on what s happening abroad and he is the strongest, most passionate candidate on that. the most articulate. i have got him in the lead. i have bush a little bit behind. walker a little bit behind and i m back to drink and other first of all lick for $10 because i need relief from the depression that sets in. i like that. chuck? well, again, my first time and i m going to place an initial 25 chips on jeb
proposes or and at the same time and do it in a way that takes on bush a little bit without dising him. he is very goingad that. he is he has a lot of affection for george bush, a love democrats have some chagrin about that. but i think he is going to be able to do that. i agree with brit, though, that you know, this convention seems to be sort of a tip to the hat of there are no undecideds left or so few that the convention is geared towards making sure that the base is energized and that those single women are energized and they reach out and and continue to move the base. this is going to be a base turnout election on both sides. i don t think they are going after the undecideds. is there the risk of alienating the other side? there absolutely is. this moment in american politics
