Jennifer Webb and partner Martin Crosswaite bought the Old Sun at Haworth in November. Now, following an extensive refurbishment of the West Lane premises, customers will be welcomed back from Monday, May 17. “Martin – who has owned the Busfeild Arms at East Morton for ten years – had been looking out for a new challenge and came across the Old Sun for sale online one night,” says Jennifer. “We went to have a look that night by peeping through the windows and bought it the next day! It just felt right.” Since then, the couple have carried out a complete renovation of the building – including rewiring, a new roof and kitchen, and replastering.
