Another wonderful season of racing is now well underway, and it has not disappointed us with twists and turns along the way. The season has already seen 12 different winners and it would be fair to say that the number of different individual winners will likely be more than that by the time we get to Phoenix on November 7.
We have seen the bookmakers change the odds for the outright winner several times, with some big movers along the way. It is impossible to say who will take the title by the end of the season, however, things are really starting to shape up and we are getting a good idea of where racers are likely to be, come season-end.

After Kyle Busch won the Buschy McBusch Race 400 last weekend in Kansas, he moved into the top 10 in the season point standings, though Denny Hamlin, who has eight top-5 finishes in 11 starts and has won five stages, still leads the way.

Kyle Busch held off the field after a restart with three laps to go and went on to win the Buschy McBusch Race 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway.
The victory came on his 36th birthday and gave him a second win on the weekend, as he also won Saturdayâs NASCAR Truck Series event at Kansas.
It gives him a Cup victory for the 17th season in a row.
Busch said it was a rare great day for him, considering how the 2020 season ended and 2021 started.
âYou talk about the ups and downs of racing,â the Joe Gibbs Racing driver said, âitâs been a lot of downs for us.â
