Coffee and Conversation: The Bruch Johnson Memorial Run was a success Journal Standard On March 27, the Stephenson County Farm Bureau hosted their annual Bruce Johnson Memorial Farm to Farm 5K/10K Run. The morning started off with rain, wind and a chill in the air. But that did not stop our volunteers from cheerily setting up for the event and preparing the best we could and adjusting where needed with the rain. We were fortunate to have a great turnout for pre-registration runners, and even some extra day-of registrations for people who braved the elements. This year our event had more than 180 registrations, with some participating virtually and others in-person, making it our largest event to date. Our event raises money for the Conversation and Agriculture Partners Foundation. This organization provides Ag in the Classroom programs and resources to classrooms and teachers in Stephenson County.
