The African contingent consisting of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) president Félix Tshisekedi, Gabonese president Ali Ben Bongo, Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta, Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, and South African president Cyril Ramaphosa will likely press for financial support to undertake climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives. In addition, each will seek to advance domestic and personal goals at this high-profile event.
