Two Cleveland nonprofits Cleveland Neighborhood Progress (CNP) and New Village Corporation (NVC) have proposed a plan to Cleveland City Council Thursday to purchase the historic Shaker Square and save it from a sheriff’s sale, according to a news release.
Cleveland Neighborhood Progress (CNP) and its real estate subsidiary New Village Corporation (NVC), along with Burten Bell Carr Development (BBC) are spearheading the proposal and have assembled necessary financing to purchase the center, which is in foreclosure and facing sheriff’s sale.
