Strikes loomed large over Hollywood in 2023, as first the writers then the actors downed tools in protest, mainly over issues raised by streaming. All is now resolved (for the moment, anyway), but meanwhile the full effects of the strikes will only be felt in the first part of next year, as stalled productions leave glaring slots in the release schedules. ?
