WASHINGTON, April 20 (Reuters) - Burt Colucci, commander of one of the United States oldest white supremacist groups, was arrested on Monday in a Phoenix suburb for pointing a loaded handgun at a Black man and threatening to kill him and his friends, according to police records.
The altercation began outside a hotel in Chandler, Arizona, after Colucci placed trash on the car of the African Americans and used racial slurs against them, according to statements police collected from Colucci, the Black people and an independent witness. Only Colucci was identified in the police report that was made public.

CHANDLER, AZ â The leader of the National Socialist Movement, the largest Neo-Nazi group in the United States, was arrested in Chandler Monday.
Burt Colucci is accused of threatening to kill African Americans and pointing his gun at them.
Colucci was in the Valley for the NSM rally over the weekend, which was a brief, uneventful march.
The Neo-Nazi group tried to provoke a confrontation with Black men by calling them racial slurs, but when it was clear they were not going to get their desired reaction, the group got in their cars and left.

The man, 45-year-old Burt Colucci, is the leader of the National Socialist Movement, a U.S. based neo-Nazi organization. He was arrested for spraying pepper spray and threatening to kill a Black man during an argument, court paperwork shows.

CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) A man believed to be the leader of a neo-Nazi group has been arrested after allegedly threatening some Black men at gunpoint in a Chandler parking lot, authorities said Tuesday.
Chandler police said 45-year-old Burt Colucci was taken into custody Monday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
It was unclear Tuesday if Colucci has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
A group of Black men told police Colucci was throwing trash at their car Monday, using racial slurs and allegedly threatening to kill one of them.
