Crocker Park Wine Festival A two-day event that takes place today and tomorrow, the Crocker Park Wine Festival will be set up throughout the streets of Crocker Park and feature more than 150 local, national, and international wine producers. There will also be beer, spirits, local vendors, food vendors, casual seating and live music. The event will be located starting at Center Circle between Anthropologie and Altar’d State on Main Street to Gap and Banana Republic, where attendees can stroll and visit different wine vendors to ask questions, sample wine and learn more about various vineyards and producers. Additionally, beer and spirit tents will be available as well as live music and food offerings from several Crocker Park restaurants including Burntwood Tavern & Leo’s Italian Social.

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio Two PTA members for the North Royalton City Schools have been awarded the Ohio PTA Achievement Award after being nominated by fellow PTA members.
The Ohio PTA Achievement Award was created to provide an opportunity to celebrate individuals who have rendered outstanding service to children and youth.
In January, the North Royalton High School PTA presented this award to two outstanding volunteers: Laurie Weiser, who was nominated by Leslie Stetler and Ashley DeAngelis; and Debbie Sexton, who was nominated by Becky Cozzens and Cristina Hornik.
Lehigh Middle’s Teresa Rigdon named Educational Support Person of the Year

The desire to help, heal and share her love with people has earned Lehigh Acres Middle School’s Teresa Rigdon. the honor of Educational Support Person of the Year for the School District of Lee County.
“My reaction when I was surprised, was surreal. I was just so amazed that I was being rewarded for something that I am so passionate about. I do not look at my work in terms of ‘work,’ income or reward,” said Rigdon, a peer mediation counselor. “I show up each day hoping to help one or two people and I leave knowing I helped much more than that. I was honored to represent our LAMS family and appreciative of the support and recognition of my co-workers and the district.
