On Sunday evening around 5:00 p.m., the Williamson County Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a 10 acre brush fire where due to weather conditions, the fire spread quickly.
The Marshall County Commissioners have terminated the countywide Burn Ban, effective immediately. On Wednesday, November 15, the Commissioners put the Burn Ban in place due to an increase in grass and field fires across the county and the ongoing weather conditions. Thanks to the recent rainfall and decreased wind speeds, safer burning conditions have returned.
