WSU Launches Challenge Campaign With Philanthropic Families To Raise Money For Two New Cougar Athletics Facilities

Washington State University announced Wednesday that two philanthropic families have joined with the institution on a fundraising challenge for two new facilities for athletics. The 6 million dollar challenge is intended to help boost fundraising for construction of the Indoor Practice Facility and the renovation to create the Champions Complex. Scott and Lisa Taylor of Hayden Lake Idaho made a 2 million dollar donation in 2019 to help pay for the Indoor Practice Facility to replace the “bubble.” At the time the Taylor’s gift was the largest in WSU Athletics history. The Taylor’s are poised to more than double that gift through this new fundraising challenge to match up to 5 million dollars in new pledges to the IPF committed before the end of August.
