A New Jersey mother who was reported to local police by a military official after criticizing her child's elementary school for displaying posters in the hallway about sexual preferences has filed a federal lawsuit claiming her civil rights were violated.
Northern Burlington Regional School District school board President Paul Narwid said the board had carefully reviewed how a politically divisive tweet was sent from Superintendent James Sarruda s Twitter account, and it was confident nothing else was compromised.
