Burlington, IA- The Burlington Public Works Office has announced that, starting at 7 AM Monday, May 15th, a city contractor will be working on miscellaneous public sewer repairs in the vicinity of Oak Street to Linden Street between N. 9th Street and N. 7th Street. The specific areas of work and alley closures include: Alley intersection closure, between Oak and Sycamore Streets, between N. 9th and N. 8th. Alley intersection closure, between Sycamore and Linden Streets, between N. 9th and N. 8th. Alley closure, at the north edge of Linden Street, between N. 9th and N. 8th. Alley closure, just north of Linden Street, between N. 8th and N. 7th. Work is expected to continue from Monday, May 15th for about 4 weeks. Traffic/vehicles will have access in the alleyways. Thru traffic will be blocked at the spot locations described above.
