San francisco to this day do not opative smoke alarms in their units and the lack of working smoke alarm is a major cause of death from fire. We are this law requiring loaners to provide nrfgz in english, spanish, chinese to renters every year on the importance of smoke alarms and their responsibility they as pauperty owners have. The second problem the law addresses is many biltdings dont have opative fire alarms in common areas. This means that in the case of a fire tenants often times are not aware that a fire is actually taking place and we heard this from a number of the people who survive some of the fires that they didnt hear the alarm so this law requires there is proper inspection and testing of fire alarms in these buildsings and also requires department of building inspection maintain a website where tenant can look up for themselves to find out whether or not the building where they live is in compliance mpt the third piece of this legislation addresses the fact many buildi

New jersey street, desperate to get away from a man with a gun. Police say the gunman shot and killed that woman as she was trying to get into a strangers car to escape. Reporter were told this was not a ran donnell dom attack. The woman tried to escape. She ran down the street here and started running towards that building. But the gunman was behind the wheel of a car. He chased her down and opened fire. Riddled the bullet holes, what happened in this car on monitor street has left one woman dead and people disturbed. But the noise, Adrian Gonzalez quickly learned was gunfire. A couple of pop, pop, pop. Nobody really knows what was going on. Reporter a jersey city spokesperson says this began was a domestic dispute that started a woman trying to run away, she saw another woman trying to park her car.
